CHICAGO MUSTANGS WINTER HIGH SCHOOL PREP PROGRAM
Train. Compete. Improve.
For motivated high school players not currently on an IHSA school team who want to stay sharp, build confidence, and elevate their game this winter season!

Who: 9th–10th Grade Boys not on a current IHSA School Team

🏀 2025 Winter Season Travel Basketball Program
Open to Current 3rd – 12th Grade Boys
Program Overview
The 2025 Winter Travel Basketball Program is designed for players seeking a competitive, skill-focused basketball experience.
Players will compete in 6 weekend shootouts/tournaments throughout December, January, and early February 2026, while building fundamentals and team play through challenging weekly practices.
Season Dates

Evaluations / Tryouts: Begin early November (see schedule below)

Season Duration: November 19th – February 8th, 2026

Practices: 1x per week (various days & locations)

Competitions: 6 weekend shootouts/tournaments

We understand the importance of your school team basketball commitments and will do our best to accommodate game and practice schedules so all players can participate fully.
Program Cost

$750 – Returning Mustangs (with uniform)

$850 – New players (includes uniform)
Tryout Fee: $20 (covers all tryout sessions; pre-registration required – no walk-ins)

***Tryout Fee - There is a one-time $20 fee to register and participate in all of the 2025 Winter Travel Team tryout sessions.

In today’s game, it’s tough to get on the court if you’re not a confident, consistent shooter — especially at higher levels of play. That’s why we’re offering skills training for hard-working players who want to separate themselves from the competition.
What You’ll Learn
Don’t just go through drills — learn how to play the game the right way!
Work with a top local Boys High School Varsity Coach on Chicago’s Northside and improve your:

Shooting form, stance, and balance

Dribbling and ball-handling

Footwork and game-speed movement

Basketball IQ and gameplay awareness
Too often, once the season starts, players don’t get enough quality reps — this is your chance to develop your skills, boost your confidence, and prepare for success!

Who: Boys & Girls — Grades 3rd–8th (Coed)
When: Sundays, November 16th – November 30th
Time: 5:00 – 6:00 PM
Duration: 3 Weeks / 3 Sessions
